4 months

I never thought I could be so happy in life, then I was blessed with this beautiful bundle of life! She is the most precious gift! It is so hard to believe she is 4 and half months. She has already rolled over December 1!!! That was a great day! She is trying to sit up, she will maybe stay up for about a minute then topple! She is so talkative now, I think she gets that from her daddy. lol (yeah right) Who by the way has become soft hearted now!! He said at the beginning of the pregnancy no sleeping with the baby in the bed, guess who slept with her first in the bed, yep daddy. He is so good with her, and she loves him to death. You can say Evie do you love your daddy, and she will grin from ear to ear! Its so cute.
We are so excited about coming home, however this will be our last Christmas in little rock. We are going to start making traditions for Evie. Shane wants to play Santa and we want her to open presents at her house not 50 bazillion houses. Its whats best for her. We will be coming home for Thanksgiving though, which is better he can hunt and we can eat and Shop!! We have yet to spend a thanksgiving with our families since we have been married. This will be Evie's first trip to Little Rock its even more special because its Christmas! Also Shane will be 31 on the 28 and that same day Evie is being dedicated. Its happening at Oak Park Baptist (where we were married) at the beginning of the church service that Sunday morning. Hope you all can make it.
Evie's health is doing good she is eating rice and apple cereal from a spoon now, so the fiber in the apples are helping her go! She has not had the laxative in about a week!!!! I am so thankful for that! Shane hates the diapers. He found out just how bad they were the other night. I just pray it will keep on working. The doctor says she can start solid food every three days at five and half months!!!! I am so excited, I gave her a little taste of mashed potatoes the other night and her little face lit up! Food is going to be so much fun! She is so messy with the cereal I can only imagine how fun and messy she will be with food!! She figured out how to blow bubbles and that is a site to see. She is something else. Also she has slept in her bed all the way through the night without having to feed. However I stayed up and made a pallet on the floor of her room. I am trying to wean myself. Its hard y'all. She is to dang sweet. You'll see when we get home. Well this about sums everything up. O- I have made a wish list on the babies r us web site and Shane and i are updating it until her first birthday. So if you ever want to know what she needs just go there and click the wish list link. We Love you all and as always Go hogs
